Other Characters: Claudia Donovan
Character Name: Chloe King
Series: The Nine Lives of Chloe King (TV series)
Age: 16 (Technically closer to 17)
From When?: Season 1 finale, right after her second death and before she comes back to life.
Inmate/Warden: Warden.
[Choose one and say why they're this way. Wardens--Why does the Admiral think your character would be useful as a warden here? What do they bring to the table? Regardless of their good/evil/neutral motiviations, do they have the capacity to help an inmate achieve graduation? Inmates--What does your character still need to change about themselves? How can working with a warden on the Barge help them?]
Item: iPhone!
Abilities/Powers: Chloe is part of the Mai race, descendants of the ancient Egyptian cat-goddess Bastet. Her powers were dormant until her 16th birthday, so they're still relatively new to her. She's had them nearly a year at the canon point I'm bringing her from.
Mai powers include: agility, extendable claws, high jumping, an ability to balance oneself on quite narrow paths (or ledges, or beams), will always land on their feet (eh, mostly), night vision, and the ability to tune-in to sounds from a distance.
In addition to the ordinary Mai powers, the Uniter also has nine lives to live (or to "endure"), and has a unique empath ability. She cannot control this ability yet, it comes on without warning, but on occasion she can feel exactly what a person is feeling. Usually this happens with a direct look, at relatively close proximity (meaning not over the network, only in person), and sometimes by touch. This generally only happens with humans - she cannot use this power on another Mai. But since she does manage to get an "Empathy Hit" off of a "Jackal" in canon (a race consisting of the descendants of Anubis, who are also rival enemies of the Mai), I think it's safe to assume she can do the same with most species on the Barge? If this is too much of an assumption, I'm willing to limit her empath abilities to actual humans only, though.
Personality: [Please write at least 5 solid paragraphs. The more depth and detail, the better! Keep in mind that other players will use this section to determine if your character is a good match for potential Warden/Inmate pairings, and this may be their first exposure to your character. You might also include how they are going to react to the Barge. Please write this in complete sentences, and in paragraphs as you would in any normal area of the application. Do not divide into sections and label each with adjectives. This makes it seem choppy and harder to read.]
