Some necessary information.

REGARDING THE MAI:

- Mai and humans can't be intimate. Meaning: a kiss with a human will most likely either paralyze and/or kill said human.


- Dogs tend not to like them, and may even be aggressive toward them.


- They were once protectors of humans, but somewhere along the line some Mai got tired of being "used". A rift formed between the two species, and "The Order" was created - an organization with the mission to kill the Mai and wipe out the race.


- Powers include: agility, extendable claws, high jumping, an ability to balance oneself on quite narrow paths (or ledges, or beams), will always land on their feet (mostly), night vision, can tune-in to sounds from a distance.

THE UNITER, SPECIFICALLY:

- In addition to the ordinary Mai powers, the Uniter also has nine lives to live (or to "endure"), and has a unique empath ability. She cannot control this ability yet, it comes on without warning, but on occasion she can feel exactly what a person (or one of the half-human, half-Anubis race called "Jackals") is feeling. Usually this happens with a direct look, and at close proximity.
